he Tumult project is a social community, an artistic plattform and a festival experience created to set new trajectories for global exchange, rural economies and personal growth. Our mission is to break down cultural barriers and bring people together in an inspiring chaos of expression where all things speak to your imagination. By inviting an eclectic blend of artists from around the world, we set the stage for voices to be heard and artistic dialog to take place. Simply an experience focused on exploring less travelled roads for those who seek new perspectives. Join us if you are curious!

The festival unfolds the last weekend of June at Öjerviks Farm in Sunne, Värmland. Located in the centre of Scandinavia, right between Oslo, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, we bring the world together in a landscape of surreal beauty where sunsets never end. History

Sunne, steeped in rich history and natural beauty, offers a myriad of attractions for visitors. Don’t forget to visit the centuries-old Sunne Church, a medieval masterpiece, or explore the Mårbacka Estate, former residence of Nobel Prize-winning author Selma Lagerlöf. However, most importantly, right next to the festival area lies Rottneros Park. Adorned with ornate sculptures by renowned artists such as Carl Eldh, Carl Milles, Christian Eriksson, Eric Grate, and more. This stunning palace and garden are also the setting for nothing less than the epic saga of Gösta Berling that inspired the world more than a hundred years ago.

Accommodation

For the full experience, we recommend pitching a tent along the kilometer-long beachside camping or find a cozy spot amidst the vast forests or plains surrounding the area, all included in the ticket price. If the outdoors isn’t your style, Selma Spa Hotel in Sunne is a fantastic alternative amongst several other accommodations nearby.

Transportation & Accessibility

If you are joining from abroad, flying into Oslo is closer than Stockholm Airport. There are several bus or train alternatives from major Scandinavian cities, both SJ and Flixbus are good alternatives. Öjervik train station, situated less than a kilometer from the festival area, is conveniently accessible via rails. Alternatively, your car or RV is more than welcome to join in on the fun! All stages and activities are held on ground floor, ensuring accessibility for all. If you require assistance of any sort, drop us an email, and we'll ensure necessary resources are in place.

Food and Beverage

At Tumult, we believe that food cooked with love and tasty drinks are key aspects of the good life. We’ll offer all you need to nurture that energy of yours. If you have any specific requests or allergies, please let us know via email.

Health and Support

Professional Healthcare and support will be available 24/7 during the festival and do not hesitate to ask for help in any situation. We will have a dedicated area to care for you if you need it, whatever the situation calls for! Make sure to care about your own and others health during your stay. We are in this together!
